Malawi
Lake Malawi

Lake Malawi is the best-known destination in Malawi and is stunningly beautiful, its waters twinkling like stars – Livingstone remarked on this in his diaries. It is the 3rd largest lake in Africa.

With the resurgence of its National Parks – Majete and Liwonde being the most well known – it is now a really good holiday destination. With game viewing combined with relaxing at the numerous ‘beach lodges’ on the lake. There are lots of options to suit all budgets and we can recommend one to suit you.

As well as the Lake & its Wildlife parks, Malawi also has beautiful mountainous areas, rich forests, plateaus and tea estates to visit. Hiking up Mount Mulanje and around the Zomba Plateau south of the lake is recommended.

Some of the tea estates are still run by the original families from the early 20th century and are really worth a visit.

The Lodges are still wonderfully rustic and authentic but with all the mod cons – so you won’t want for anything and are very reasonably priced – making Malawi a very affordable destination –  a great escape from fast-paced city life.

We offer a range of safaris and tours to Malawi – from group tours & solo tours to tailormade Lodge safaris and self-drives.
