Our fly-in safaris are perfect for couple and single passengers who have a shorter amount of time or are looking for great wildlife viewing without spending time travelling between parks. These safaris generally use shared 4x4 vehicles provided by the lodges and camps whilst in the bush for transfers and game viewing. Flying allows guests to avoid backtracking and experience a greater variety of areas within in a limited time frame. With a wide variety of lodges and bush camps on offer, fly in lodges prove to be one of the most popular options, allowing guests to maximise their time as most flights range from 20 -50 minutes between properties, therefore allowing ample time at each property to explore the areas to their best. Lodges and bushcamps vary considerably, depending on location, cost and style of property. Inter camp flights do increase the cost of the safari package, however the locations of these properties, the exclusivity and overall safari experience is unrivalled – offering a truly exclusive safari within renowned destinations on offer. The majority of lodges are found in the remote game reserves and the vast distances and rough roads between them, means that often the most efficient way to travel between them is by light aircraft. Although this can be costly, it does give maximum game-viewing time. Most flights will be from 1 to 2 hours in duration.
