Cape Town & the Cape Coast

Cape Town and Cape Coast

Cape Town has plenty of places to explore; from the bustling Waterfront quays and chic Clifton beaches to the Cape Peninsular and surfing beaches – there is something for everyone.

The Winelands area of Stellenbosch and Franshoek are great day trips, we recommend hiring a minibus and touring a few wine estates. The whale watching capital of Hermanus is also a day trip or worth a few days to explore.

If you have a few more days a short self-drive or guided tour along the Cape coast is appealing.

The stark west coast north of Cape Town, known as Namaqualand, comes to life in September and October. The countryside is converted with an awe-inspiring splash of colour from the millions of wildflowers! A real sight to see!

The coastal towns of Plettenberg Bay, Wilderness, and Knysna are picturesque and interesting and offer great beaches holidays between December and April  – to escape the northern hemisphere winter!

This is a great safari that combines the wonderful Mana Pools and Hwange National Parks with a few days at Victoria Falls.

You get around using small inter-camp flights. Both Mana Pools and Hwange are renowned for their game viewing and walking safaris and offer diverse and contrasting habitats.
